Puggle Play Therapy was founded on a simple belief: every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood, and that healing happens best through play.

Hi, I'm Amber! The heart behind Puggle Play Therapy. I'm a registered play therapist with a deep passion for supporting children and families in Renmark and the Riverland community.
My approach is neuroaffirming and trauma-informed, which means I meet every child exactly where they are, without judgment, without pressure, and with genuine curiosity. I believe children are the experts on themselves, and my role is to create the conditions where they can heal and grow.
I have a particular passion for supporting Autistic and ADHD children, and I'm committed to honouring neurodiversity in everything I do. I work collaboratively with families, because I know that when parents feel supported and informed, children thrive.
Qualifications & Training
We follow the Child's lead in every session, trusting their innate wisdom and capacity to heal at their own pace.
We celebrate neurodiversity and adapt our approach to honour each child's unique brain, body, and way of being in the world.
We understand how trauma shapes children's behaviour and responses, and we create safety before anything else.
We work in partnership with families, keeping parents informed and empowered throughout the therapeutic journey.
Play therapy is much more than just playing. It's a clinically proven, evidence-based approach that uses the natural language of childhood — play — to help children process experiences, express emotions, and develop coping skills. In a play therapy session, children are free to explore, create, and communicate in ways that feel safe and natural to them.
At Puggle Play Therapy, sessions take place in a carefully curated playroom filled with art materials, sand trays, puppets, miniatures, and sensory tools. Every item is intentionally chosen to support therapeutic exploration. Sessions are 60 minutes and are held weekly, depending on your child's needs.
I'd love to have a chat about your child and how I might be able to help. Reach out for a free, no-obligation consultation.
